About us

If you do not have a church home, we ask you to prayerfully consider Calvary. We are a growing church with a small, personal church family and atmosphere. We are here to provide you with help and encouragement. Although we may not know your need right now, God does, and He offers you hope for today: “ 'For I know the plans I have for you’, declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’ .” (Jeremiah 29:11) Contact us to learn more, grow spiritually, and find your family in Christ!

What We Do

A Powerful Network

While we are a smaller church, our influence on Columbus and on the world is great. Calvary has been a part of this community since the 1950's (pastored by David Jacobs since 1996) and has made impacts across the globe since, thanks to live-streamed services every week. This is our ultimate goal: that we will reach every end of the earth to fulfill Christ’s command to spread the Gospel. With your help, this goal can be achieved! Everyday Support

Our tight-knit community at Calvary ensures that no one feels alone in their journey with Christ. We were created for relationships and some of the best ones you'll ever form will be here at your church. Whether it is visiting a sick family member, having lunch with us after service, or inviting us to your child’s soccer game, we are here for you in every capacity! All that’s left to do is for you to reach out.

Home Groups

Every month, we host a "home group" at the pastor's house or the house of a member who volunteers to host. This is for a more intimate Bible study, like those Jesus had with His disciples. If you would like to host one or get info. on the next home group contact us below!

Baptisms and Weddings

Have you given your life to Christ? Would you like to be baptized to show the world your faith? Call Calvary! Baptisms are so special, and we would be happy to be a part of this step of faith. We also host weddings, as our church makes for a beautiful venue that includes a fellowship hall for food, gorgeous chandelier lighting, musicians, etc. Contact us if you would like to have your special day at Calvary!
